Approach	The entrance between the east and northern breakwater is very narrow (20-25m), at the head of the northern breakwater are cliffs! Approx. 100m of Cape Akrotiri, a reef runs to N, keep distance!
Danger	With the meltemi, a steep, dangerous sea runs onto the northside of Nisiros. With more than force6, the waves climb over the mole and a confuse swell enters the harbour. Now it nearly gets impossible to enter or leave the harbour! Lately now, you should head for Yali
Mooring	Stern-to or bow-to the northern breakwater. Drop anchor on 3m goodholding mud. It is impossible to stay at the eastern breakwater, because swell comes in with northwind.
Shelter	Paloi offers good shelter with S, E and W and with N under 6 Bft. With meltemi, go to Yali
Facilities	Water is expensive (3000 Drachme) because Nisiros has got no own water and needs imports by watership. No electricity. Provisions and restaurants in the village and alongside the harbour. 2 stores rent motorbikes.
